In 2009, we were contacted by a client who was having constant issues with the technology in his house.

The existing systems, previously delivered by a commercial integrator, were disparate, poorly specified, only rudimentarily documented, and programmed ineffectively. All of this was continually causing the client no end of frustration.

Over the next nine years, the client proceeded to implement a few minor spot upgrades, to keep the system

running. Throughout those years, our organisation managed to perform essential maintenance and upgrades to keep the house functionality at a level the owner could live with, but never with a result we would call excellent.

By mid-2019 the core components within the system were failing and obsolete and needed significant upgrades to perform with the clients developing requirements.

Throughout the remainder of 2019, our company fully audited the property, surveying the existing systems and planned a complete systems overhaul for the client. Commencing in late 2019, our team hit the ground and across a period of eight months, with a permanently occupied property (and the complexities of COVID), our team transformed the system and house for the client, without any downtime or ceasing of functionality.

The way that this upgrade revitalised our client’s home and improved their lives, helped decide on a name for the project for us, Ultimate Lifestyle Home.
